Bo City, Sierra Leone – September 2–4, 2025: As part of the Global Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, the Faith and Justice Network’s Regional Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Tolbert Thomas Jallah, Jr., delivered a compelling and prophetic paper during the Second Regional Prayer Summit of the Mano River Ministerial Alliance, held under the theme:
“Generational Shift: Mandate, Mission, and Mantles – To Effectively Develop a Spiritual Atmospheric Platform for Conquest Against the Gates of Hell.”
The summit took place at Flaming Bible Church, New London, Bo City, Sierra Leone, drawing ministers, intercessors, and church leaders from across the Mano River Union region—including Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, and Côte d’Ivoire.
A Timely Prophetic Message for a Shifting Generation, titled: “Positioned for Conquest in a Shifting Generation,”
brought deep insight and a clarion call to action for the church in West Africa and beyond. With clarity, biblical grounding, and prophetic urgency, Dr. Jallah outlined how the Church must recognize and respond to the generational shifts happening across spiritual, cultural, and leadership landscapes.
He emphasized that mandates are being transferred, missions are being redefined, and mantles are being passed in Africa, but the Church must remain spiritually alert and strategically positioned to advance the Kingdom of God against the gates of hell.
Quoting Matthew 16:18, Dr. Jallah reminded the 75 delegates that “the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church”—but only if the Church is spiritually aligned, intergenerationally connected, and missionally engaged.
Core Highlights of the Presentation Included:
i. Recognizing the Shift: Understanding the times and seasons—what God is doing in this generation, and how to discern the move of His Spirit.
ii. Embracing the Mandate: Renewing our commitment to the Gospel and the mission of justice, unity, and holistic transformation.
iii. Receiving the Mantle: Raising up new leaders while honoring the wisdom of those who’ve gone before—ensuring the continuity of Kingdom legacy.
iv. Contending at the Gates: Developing a sustained, prayerful, and strategic response to spiritual warfare, cultural decline, and systemic injustice within the Mano River Basin Countries.
The Prayer Summit led by Apostle Hector Randell and Bishop Jonathan Foxx served not only as a gathering of spiritual leaders but as a regional altar of unity, where nations stood
together in intercession and commitment to a shared Kingdom vision. Dr. Jallah’s presence and participation highlighted the Faith and Justice Network’s ongoing commitment to mobilizing the Church across Mano River Basin in West Africa for gender justice, peace, and the advancement of the Gospel.
Delegates left the summit deeply inspired, spiritually charged, and strategically equipped to confront the challenges of their generation—and to take up their mantles for the glory of God.
